This is where we began.

A warehouse built in 1860’s to store goods shipped from overseas, was once filled with coffee and sustenance galore. Today, it has been transformed into luxury homes and a grocery store, yet the aroma of coffee lingers on, reminding us of the journey this place has taken.

Our journey led us to a neighborhood where the new and old merge into a unique landscape, its streets and architecture imbued with a sense of novelty and nostalgia that our stories could perfectly encapsulate.

A neighborhood in constant flux, a tug-of-war between those for and against, gentrification or revitalization, a label that fails to truly make sense.

Fading memories of what used to be, leave delicate marks on stories of community and self, a reminder that change, though difficult, is often the only way to improve one's own shelf.
